Saving the planet is so overwhelming, that people don’t feel they can make an impact. This platform gives people a plan for action, and a way to track their success.

 

Three PILLARS

We identified three key areas (out of mounds of Cal Academy data) where little changes would make a big difference, and focused our efforts there. Every year, new pillars are added.

A MOBILE-FIRST HUB

We concepted, designed and built a platform to get people focused on those 3 areas.

Play & Learn

Using simple animations, we brought the most 'holy shit’-inducing facts to life.

PLAY & LEARN Simple animations bring to life specific, facts, like shortening a shower by 7 minutes per day would save 1 school bus of water a year.

Simple Tips

For the most overwhelming subjects (like tons of food waste), we wrote the simplest tips.

SIMPLE TIPS Even the most complicated things (like tons of food waste) are boiled down to the simplest facts.

Public Pledges

Promising publicly makes people feel accountable, so pledges are sharable to social.

MAKE A PLEDGE People are encouraged to stay accountable with pledges that they can share on social, to prompt even more people to make a plan.
